Woolvett Bros website is a fan run, non-profit making website dedicated to two multi-talented actors who have both appeared in numerous productions in careers spanning the past twenty years, and as luck would have it are also brothers enabling this site to have a rather catchy title - Jaimz Woolvett and Gordon Michael Woolvett.

The site is a one girl band, designed, maintained and owned by myself, Jill Ubdegrove (AKAJipster), a resident of olde London town, England who has been a fan of the Woolvett Bros for a couple of months number of years. Jipster

Woolvett Bros was first launched in May 2006, after a couple of years of thinking it really should be done and then because I needed a showcase site as I began to move into the world of web as my chosen career. This is now the fourth (!!) reincarnation of the site, which went live in January 2009 and if anything, is a documented record of my own journey into the world of professional web design, as this site is now even more compliant with the latest practices and guidelines out there (and at least at launch passed all the compliance and accessibility tests!).

In my real life I work in web development, and am currently working my second year on the now rebranded EDF Energy Ideal Home Show (formally The Daily Mail), developing, managing and hopefully improving their online presence.  In 2008 I finally achieved a professional qualification in Online Marketing, having already worked in this sector for roughly four years - better late than never!  I have previously worked as a tape librarian, film/tv editor, tv production assistant, a personal assistant to a record producer and a cinema manager - a jack jill of all trades, master of none.

As of January 2008, Woolvett bros website became officially endorsed by both Jaimz Woolvett and Gordon Michael Woolvett. They are both very much aware of the site, and kept informed of updates (whether they want to or not!) and at times have contributed, announced projects or confirmed information to make this site as comprehensive as it is. Their support is always welcomed, and I hope it will continue. I also act as a moderator for Gordon Woolvett's official message board, and have only managed to ban myself once so far which for me is pretty good going!

Suffice to say I find my dealings with both the bros to always be very cool, and they definately make it easier for me to put the time and effort into producing a site like this because they are both jolly nice chaps, even if they do think I'm a bit strange for doing all this for them, and I have yet to come up with a suitable explaination as to why I do it!

Thank you to everyone who has supported the site, and welcome to all who have only just discovered it!  Jipster sign off
